Personal Information Collection & Use

We understand that the internet has become the information hub of the world, but that doesn't mean that our customers' personal information should be a part of it.  That's why we have taken every step we can to ensure that any personal information stored within our system remains private.  We do not share, sell, rent or trade personally identifying information with third parties for their promotional purposes.  Part of the way our system works is by requiring our customers to create an account through our website to help facilitate the protection of our intellectual property and provide our customer's with better support.  At the very least, we require that our customers provide a username, password, first and last name, and a valid email address.  Other optional information includes, but is not limited to, company name, department, position, and primary and secondary contact phone numbers.

Cookies has several areas that require authenticated access by logging in to a valid account.  In order to access these areas, you must have cookies enabled.  If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you may still browse our site, but your ability to login will cease to function.  We do not use cookies to identify or track any personally identifiable information.

IP Address

We use IP addresses to gather statistical information such as unique downloads of our products.  When we collect IP addresses for actions such as downloads we do not link those IP addresses to personally identifiable information.  We do however link IP addresses to our Product Keys during the product activation process.  Product Keys are linked to the account that purchased those keys, so in turn it would be possible to link an IP address to personally identifiable information.  However, this information remains strictly confidential for internal use only at Krytec Media.  We do not distribute or share IP information with any third parties.

Security takes precautions to protect its customers' information.  When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Before ever asking you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), we establish a secure connection using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL).  This allows your sensitive information to be encrypted and protected during transmission to our servers.  Many web sites only use 128-bit encryption including many online banking web sites.  While 128-bit encryption provides an adequate level of protection, takes the protection of your sensitive information further by using the highest encryption available: 256-bit.  You can learn more about SSL by going to

Our customers have the option of storing their billing information to help expedite future purchases through  If you choose to store your billing information, you can rest assured that your sensitive information is stored in our databases using the highest possible level of military grade encryption, AES-256.

Another alarmingly growing issue, known as phishing, poses a threat to personally sensitive information such as passwords and financial information.  Before entering any sensitive information on a web site you should make sure that you are on a legitimate page.  In the case of entering sensitive information on, an easy way to tell if you are on a legitimate page is by looking at the URL and making sure it begins with “”.  Phishing sites are illegal and should not be taken lightly. Should you come across an illegitimate web site posing as, we ask that you report it by sending an email to containing the URL of the web site along with a brief description of how you ended up there.  Additionally, we recommend you also report it to any or all of the following organizations:

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.  We may also disclose Personal Information about you that is in our possession upon governmental request or if required to do so by law or based on our good faith belief that it is necessary to protect our site and the users of our site.
